211At-BC8-B10

A Phase I/II Study Evaluating Escalating Doses of 211At-Labeled Anti-CD45 MAb BC8-B10 (211At-BC8-B10) Followed by Related Haplo-Identical Allogeneic Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation for High-Risk Acute Leukemia or Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS)

What's the purpose of the trial?

This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of a radioactive agent linked to an antibody (211At-BC8-B10) followed by donor stem cell transplant in treating patients with high-risk acute leukemia or myelodysplastic syndrome that has come back (recurrent) or isn't responding to treatment (refractory).

  • Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant is a type of stem cell transplant that utilizes a donor's pre-collected stem cells to rescue the bone marrow from the toxic effects of very high dose chemotherapy.
  • Astatine At 211 Anti-CD45 Monoclonal Antibody BC8-B10 Astatine At 211 Anti-CD45 Monoclonal Antibody BC8-B10 is a monoclonal antibody that is designed to deliver cytotoxic radiation to cancer cells. It is being studied for use in several different indications.
  • Cyclophosphamide is a chemotherapy agent used in the treatment of cancer.
  • Fludarabine is a chemotherapy medication that may be used in the treatment of many different cancers.
  • Granulocyte Colony-Stimulating Factor is a glycoprotein used to stimulate the bone marrow to help with granulocyte and stem cell production.
  • Mycophenolate Mofetil is an immunosuppressive medication used to help prevent rejection in patients who have had a transplant.
  • Tacrolimus is an immunosuppressive medication used to help prevent rejection in patients who have had a transplant.
